Ball in the Tree

A new favorite game out in the front yard is "let see how high we can kick the soccer ball straight up!"  Unfortunately we have several large oak trees out front and this time they decided to play back.  They caught 3 wiffle balls, and I thought it would be smart to use the soccer ball to try and get them out of the branches!  But then his ball got stuck too! Long story short, we had quite the show outside and several neighbors over with all sorts of things to "help" save the balls.

The perfect combination was our tall ladder and our neighbors long pruning clippers.

In the end, Christian won the game.  It wasn't easy, and it took persistence, but we did get all the balls down!  Thanks for playing nice trees! :) Now...new game! :)
