Walking Beckam

Beckam is loving the freedom walking has allowed!  Good thing we have a long driveway to practice on!
He also seems to enjoy holding a stick, sword or bat. Maybe it helps him balance?...

What kind of mom lets her kid play outside without pants on?!  Apparently me :)  He LOVED playing with his shadow!

And even without pants I thinks these pictures are pretty cute.
He's even gotten more brave at the parks.  Following Jaden and Kyler where he can.

Beckam did this again and again.  He'd throw the ball,
put the bat up on his shoulder and go get the ball,
then sit down and throw it again.  He cracks me up!
Here he's watching his 6-years-older-than-him brother jump rope.

Jaden was sweet enough to give him a chance at it too.
Don't worry buddy, in 6 years you learn a lot!
The time really does fly!

Jaden turns 7!

May 24th, Happy Birthday Jaden!
After We had breakfast and got ready for school, Jaden began reading his cards.
He really liked this one with his picture on a 7 dollar bill!:)

Inside the card read the first passage to his "treasure hunt."  This was such a big memory for me growing up that I wanted to do it for him.  He went from the kitchen to the shed door outside, to the bathroom,
to the storage room, and then into the basement.
The view on the camera doesn't do it justice.  You can't really see that a bike it there. He is SO excited about the samurai sword! CLASSIC!
Then he realizes he also gets a bike!  Way cool!
Of course he wanted to ride it right away!  Good thing he got ready for school so quickly! (I love how he wanted to wear his crown from Toys'Rus too.)  As long as he doesn't continue to grow 4 inches per year, this bike should fit him for a while.  So glad he loves it so much!
Kyler was so excited to show him the stuff he got him!  LOVE the dollar store!  This little ninja is so cool!
He was really excited to get the comic book he'd seen at the library.  Even personally signed by the illustrator!  Way cool!
Kyler wanted to jump in the picture too.  He was also excited for Jaden's new stuff!
Jaden said he didn't want a birthday cake on his big day this year.  But that he would like M&M cookies.  So this is what he got!
I caught him reading his new comic book, Missile Mouse.
Call me crazy, but the next day we also did a birthday party. (Also happened to be the last day of school!) 14 boys was a lot of crazy fun!

Apparently all my ideas of games to play at his party were "lame", according to Jaden.  So when I asked him what he wanted to do, he said "Play ball at the park!"  And that's what we did.
They all had so much fun!
Jaden loves all of his buddies.  This party was perfect for being able to say good bye to all of his new friends he's made so quickly here in Provo.

The Iron Man cake looks better in the photos further away! :)  As always though, Jaden loved it!  Happy Birthday my 7 year old!

More in May

My 3 boys all have a personality that's all their own.
Kyler's class had a program for the parents the last day of school, May 17th.  Beckam was exhausted, but hung in there.

We're going on a bear hunt...
...big green eyes...
...bushy little tail.
What a group!
After the program they had all sorts of "nursery rhyme" games to do outside.  For this one, you made your humpty dumpty, then threw a bean bag at him to try and knock him off the wall.  Ya, the boys all loved this one!
This is Kyler trying to be as nimble as Jack!

Kyler even got to milk a cow before it jumped over the moon!

Kyler ran across the beam!  No time for teasing Mr. Crocodile today.
Kyler with his 3 teachers.  Miss Melissa, Miss Diane, and Miss Briette.
I'm surprised any of that sand is there, knowing how much came home in Kyler's shoes everyday! :)  He LOVES to play in the sand.  Way to graduate Kyler!  Only 1 more year before Kindergarten!
When playing with playdough one day I made a cherry torte.  Kyler said he wanted to make one too!
May 18th, Beckam decided it was a good day to really walk!
Way blurry pictures, but it's all I've got to document it.

He was obviously very proud of himself, as were we all!
It's been getting warmer, so the boys wanted to have a picnic lunch.
Just a random smiley picture of Beckam in the car.
My friend took this picture of the solar eclipse.  Our neighbors had solar glasses they let us use to look at the sun.  What a neat thing to see.
The boys just can't wait for it to really be summer.  Our driveway will have to do for now.
Beckam's first time in a swimsuit, splashing at the puddles.

Remember Helicopter Helicopter Over My Head song?  Good old jump rope games!
They all have scary eyes!
Beckam loves feeling a part of the group when we play the Wii.

 We start them young! :)
