Front Room Basketball

With Kyler finishing up Itty Bitty and Jaden doing Jr. Jazz, there is a lot of basketball going on around our house. The other night the boys were doing some pretty silly shots and making quite a few, so I decided to video it. Another boy will fit right into this family!

Itty Bitty Basketball

Kyler is finally old enough to do the Itty Bitty sports at the rec center! He is LOVING basketball. I think he feels so grown up to finally be able to participate in sports like his older brother. I love watching him and the happy grin that doesn't seem to leave his cute face.

Here is his team. They are the LA Lakers.

I thought it would be fun to get a picture of Kyler with his buddy Carson, (left) and Harrison (right). As I told them to stand there another kid on their team decided he wanted to be in on it too! (Don't know his name) and as soon as I said "look at me and say Happy", Carson said No and squatted down. (This is seriously Kyler's face the whole time! Love it!)

WOW! Nice shot...mom. Pretty good timing huh?! Great shot too Ky! :)

Glad we have things like this to sign him up for. Sad it will be done so soon.

Here's a few things from the last day. They get out a huge parachute in between games. The kids love this!

Here's Ky with his coach.

Here he is with Lenny the Legacy Center Lion. Glad he wasn't afraid of him. Jaden was always so nervous to go near him.

San Francisco

Wednesday December 29th we decided it would be fun to spend the day in San Francisco. We went over a lot of bridges.

And through a cool tunnel too!

Finally we saw some city!

The boys sure look excited don't they?

There were a lot of neat looking buildings all over town.

There's the view of the city from the top on Lombard St.

And the super twisted cobble stone road.

Did I mention that it was FREEZING?! Good thing mom had an extra jacket for me. The 20 MPH winds were seriously cold.

Brian got some great pictures for us! Thanks dad!

We even saw some famous trolleys.

Christian thought this house was cute.

I thought this was cute of the boys running down the hill.

Brian's picture from the front looks much better! I love how Kyler's feet are both off the ground!

Then it was on to the Exploritorium! (The museum of science, art, and human perception.)

There was SO much to do. We could have spent 2 full days there!

This was a hot and cold monitor. Guess my nose was cold! :)

The boys loved the fog!

Christian helped Kyler balance the stick on his hand.

Floating the balls on the air hose was super cool.

All this hands-on stuff! The boys loved it all!

Instead of building a flat picture, Kyler decided it would be fun to stack, all the same pieces.

Look how high that is!

Victory! What a great picture huh? Thanks again dad!

Jaden even got in on the building.

Christian had his own place to build.

Nice and steady...

And in Kyler's words... "and break it!" Guess that's what's exciting for kids...seeing it all fall down.

After the Exploritorium we headed to the Golden Gate Bridge. We got to see it at sunset and it was beautiful!

There's Alkatraz.

We didn't stay here long. It was still FREEZING! But the boys loved a second of running around in the sand!

Guess we wore them out, because on the way to dinner they fell asleep. We met up with Tierney(Christian's cousin) and Jared down at Fisherman's Wharf. We ate at a place called Chowder. It was delicious! After a very cold day, a big bowl of clam chowder in a sourdough bowl was perfect!

Great way to end our vacation in California! Heading back to Utah in the morning. Great memories.
