On Friday night, we were trying to figure out what we could do with Jaden for 2 hours...and we didn't feel like just watching a movie! Finally, we decided to go to the Kangaroo Zoo! As you can see from the video and pictures taken there, it was more than a hit! He really loved it! We will probably end up going there again in the future!

Trip to Boise!
On Thursday July 12th, I received a message on my phone that went something like this..."Hi Jaden, this is grandma. Will you come play with me this weekend? Call aunt Annette. Bye."
So, my sister was heading to Boise for the weekend, totally last minute, and thought it would be fun to invite us to go with her. And so we did! Jaden had such a great time playing with Grandma and Grandpa as well as his aunts Annette, Jennie and Mindy! It was a great relaxing vacation for me as well, since there were so many other things to do there that we don't already do at our house! (Not to mention not having to take the time to cook and clean like normal) Sadly Christian didn't join us because of being so sick with a Respiratory Infection! He sure missed out. But here are videos and pictures from the weekend!

Jaden loves to watch TV!
So for now, just this picture will have to do until I can figure out how to get a video up and running on this blog. This was taken while he was watching an episode of Curious George. But he really loves watching anything! I try and limit the amount of TV he watches, but how can you say NO when you know this is how happy it makes him? Keep the film rolling... :)

We took off Sunday night, June 24, after loading 4 adults and 3 kids PLUS all of our stuff into the Robins minivan! Boy are we talented or what? The kids slept in the car as planned, and the drive went quickly. It was fun to all be together. Upon arrival and unpacking the kids woke up. It was late, and dark and we were in a new place, and Sophia kept saying that there was a scary dog! We realized that the squeaky floors in the cabin was what she thought was the "scary dog!" After some comforting the kids were all asleep again, and our great vacation was beginning!
While there we played at the "beach", in the cabin, rode on the John Deer, and even got the canoe out for a day! Everyone seemed to have a great time. The food was great; the s'mores and campfire were awesome! Late nights of snacking and playing cards...we couldn't have asked for a better break! We look forward to doing this again next year!

Finally after weeks of waiting, it was nice to find out we will be adding another BOY to the family. I can't believe we are already half way there! We're getting more and more excited to meet the little guy. It had been interesting to already see differences with this pregnancy and Jaden's. I wonder how alike they will be. Any name ideas?...
