Jaden's sword

Jaden has saved a bunch of money he has gotten for his birthday!  He decided he wanted to get a GI Joe sword with some of the money.  Christian spent some time with him researching on the computer to find out if this was a "good" sword.  He taught Jaden about reviews and looking for how many stars different toys got.  Ultimately he was happy with the sword he'd chosen and learned that it was a 4 star sword! :)  He gave us his money and we bought it online to be shipped to the store.  Jaden was patient for several days! (We learned all about shipping and tracking orders too!)

When it finally arrived, and we went to the store he walked so quickly to the back of the store.

He seemed very excited to finally have his sword!

It was hilarious how much he wanted it!

He wasn't very happy with waiting even a couple more minutes for it.  He wanted it NOW!

FINALLY!!!

He didn't even want to open the big box it came in.  He just wanted to get home to play with it!

But by the time we got to the van he'd decided he'd at least get it started!:)

It's one of the coolest swords we've had.  Lights up, makes sounds, and came with a mask and a couple of discs to throw!

Glad you got a fun toy Jaden!  I'm proud of you spending the time with daddy doing research.  It's good to know what you're spending your money on is a good thing, and not just a quick un-thought decision.
He's so protective of this toy too!  Maybe we should have them pay for more of their own toys, or at least be more involved in the process.  He really is taking great care of it! :)
