Weekend in Farmington

Each summer we seem to get together with Cameron and Selena.  The last few years we have gone to Bear Lake.  But this year we decided to head up to their home in Farmington and just have a weekend of fun there.   The kids loved being able to play so much, and not having to go home at night.  Here is some of what we did while there.
Friday night we headed to Disco Bowling.  My boys had never been bowling, and I don't think I have been in about 10 years.  My bowling was pretty pathetic, but totally fun!

Nice bowling Jaden!

Jaden was even able to pick up a Spare!
Yay Sophia!

Kyler biffed it on the slippery floor and decided to use the "hill" after that.
Way to go Kyler!
Daddy even joined us for this.  He spent the rest of the weekend in the office working on a case study about Walmart.  Glad he was able to take a couple of hours to hang out.

Yay Cameron!

Jaden even pulled out a Strike once!
All the kids loved the Disco music!
Like I said, pretty sad scoring, but fun nonetheless.  Maybe the adults should have had bumpers on too.  Or maybe I should have just played with the kids! :)

They had a blast and keep asking when we get to go bowling again.
Saturday morning we headed to their neighborhood pool.  It was slightly overcast, so we were the only ones there!

I only wish we lived closer. These kids are such great friends!
Ouch Jaden!

WOW!  That's a pretty far jump!
Jaden even got better at "swimming" without a life jacket!
Kyler was so scared at the beginning and wanted water wings with his floaty suit.  Still he wouldn't get in.Sophia helped him a lot and finally Kyler got more brave!

They loved swimming and could have spent the day there.
Saturday night we went to the dollar theater and saw Kung Fu Panda 2.  Eventhough they sold us tickets to the show, there weren't enough seats for us all. Jaden and Sam shared a seat, Cameron had Jonas, I had Kyler and Selena had Sophia and Peter.  So, we bought 8 tickets and only had 4 seats.  So of couse I said something about it and got 4 free tickets for next time for their family to use!
Sunday morning we played at the park then headed back to get ready for church.  We spent the day there, then headed home after dinner and played Celestial Pursuit!  Such a fun tradition to get together each summer.  It's great to have great friends!
