Thursday morning Kyler had his fist day of preschool! He wanted to show me his backpack.
Then he wanted to show me his cool new shirt and pants from Eric and Nat.
He wanted to make sure I got a picture of his new shoes too! :)
He was so excited for the bus to finally show up!
They had half the class come yesterday and half today, so get used to what they will be doing. It was also a day for the parents to come and go to school with their kid.
They did so many fun things. Kyler had to find all these things in his school.
Then they had breakfast! That's right, he gets breakfast at school. Today was yogurt, mixed berries and granola. They will be learning to say "please pass the...", eating new foods, saying please and thank you, and cleaning up after himself! LOVE IT!
At free time Kyler wanted to paint.
Then he wanted to build at the tool workshop. Here they can hammer nails, and screw screws into a board. He loved this.
They said they change out what is in this tub once in a while too. Right now it's kidney beans. They say it could be water, sawdust, rocks, etc...
Here he is with one of his teachers and some new buddies too.
I thought this wall was pretty cute. When his teacher came to meet him at the house she had him draw a picture. Here are all the kids pictures, morning and afternoon. There are 16 kids in his class!

They played a freeze dance where they shook their scarfs and danced until the song said...
FREEZE!
They even had lunch there too! Today was turkey and cheese sandwich, grapes, celery with dip and milk. After lunch they have to wash their plates too. Kyler was excited to use the scrubber to do this. Then they even had their own toothbrushes and got to brush their teeth! WOW! What a school!
Then it was quiet time while they waited for the bus to come. During quiet time they can read books in the library, play I SPY games, play on the computer or do puzzles. They have to learn to take turns too!
It was such a fun first day! Beckam again was great for it all!
Kyler fell asleep on the bus ride home! Maybe he'll do that everyday! We both already love his preschool and he can't wait to go again.
