A week with my mom!

My mom got into town Monday the 16th!  Later that night when she was looking through Jaden's backpack, there was a gift card to Texas Roadhouse for a free kids meal because he was the STUDENT OF THE MONTH!  So my mom thought it would be great to take him and Kyler there for dinner while she was here.  The waitress was also told that Jaden was going to be 6 next week, so they sang Happy Birthday to him, while he sat on a saddle!  Of course, the ice-cream was worth it! :)

My mom decided she didn't want to wait to have Jaden open up his present from Grandma and Grandpa Bradshaw.  Jaden was just fine with that too!

JUST DANCE KIDS for the Wii!  Awesome game mom and dad!  Both he and Ky LOVE it!

Beckam doesn't look so big when he is in his carseat.  What a cute little guy!

We have been working on a poster for Jaden's class.  They had to research and do a poster on an animal.  Here is what Jaden came up with!

Jaden wanted to show off his new shirt Grandma got him for his birthday!

He even wanted a picture with his little brother!  Wow!  That doesn't happen everyday!  We'll take it!

Kyler wants to help out once in a while too.  His "holding" time is pretty short lived though.  I'm just glad he loves Beckam and doesn't try to hurt him.

2 very handsome boys!

Grandma brought down a gingerbread decorating kit to do with the boys.  So we did that Sunday night.  They thought it was pretty fun!

Kyler is such a mystery.  How can this silly clown kid ever be rude?  Still trying to figure out what to do about that when he is.  But very much loving the times he's nice, thoughtful and silly like this too.

Jaden got an awesome THOR sword and shield from his birthday party. Kyler was wanting to play with it ALL THE TIME.  So, Grandma got him his own.  But he has to be nice to be able to keep playing with it!  We'll see how long that lasts.  Trying to be optimistic though.

Someone was asking if Beckam had long fingers.  Well, here's a picture for you to look at!  What do you think?

So, how is it having a 1 week old?!  Great!  He's a fairly happy baby.  Cries when he has a messy diaper.  I've lost 20 lbs and 7 inches so far, so that makes me even more happy!  (Only 20 more lbs to go!)  I'm so glad my mom was able to be here for an entire week!  That was such a help!  Thanks mom!
