Bear Lake Family Reunion

Last weekend was our Bradshaw family reunion. The boys favorite part was playing in the mud at the "beach." The loved carrying buckets of water to dump in a hole they made.

Once in a while they would take a break and throw the frisbee.

But it was back to the water before long.

They even made this "bathtub" for Taelin. What nice boys!

Taeline loved it all too!

Jaden was cracking me up! He did this over and over. I don't know why he had to get the dirt in the bucket first, but for some reason that just must have made the water just dirty enough to want to dump it on his head! :)

Kyler is into chewing on things lately. Don't know if it's the influence of Jennie's dog, Macie, or could he be teething!? Thought we were well past that!...

Friday night we BBQd some amazing teriyaki chicken! Holy yummy! Here I'm just helping out so that Brain could actually eat!

The boys just can't get enough of their Aunt Annette! And it's a good thing they had those tractor bikes to ride. They really do enjoy riding bikes.

Kyler was obsessed with the drinking fountain! He was always so soaked after trying to get a drink from that thing! I guess a step stool would have been nice. Oh well.

Jennie, you're right. This picture would have been cuter with you in it, but still a great shot with the 3 of us sisters!
Jaden and Kyler LOVED playing with the Hula Hoops. Check it out!

Even just rolling them across the lawn....fun times!

After dinner we got ready to play "Minute to Win it." Don't we all just look excited!?

Mindy had the challenge of holding the end of a roll of crate paper in each hand and had to get it all unwound before the minute was up!

She totally made it with about 2 seconds to spare!

Jaden had to hold a pair of panty hose, with a baseball in it, against his forehead and knock over the water balls all around him!

Somewhere in there we noticed a fire across the lake. Hope everyone was okay over that way.
Look how excited I look about making a chocolate unicorn on my forehead with bite size brownies! That was actually really hard. So many crumbs in my contacts that night....yuck!
And all the kids just had to balance an Oreo on their forehead, and then they got to eat it!

In between setting up for the next challenge, my boys found ways to stay busy! Their energy really doesn't ever run out! Minute to Win it was actually a lot of fun! So many great ideas! Thanks Sue and Von!

Saturday morning the boys wanted to play on the swing set for a bit. Jaden sure is getting strong.

Kyler thought it was so much fun standing on the swing! He was so proud of himself!

Taelin wanted to sit on the toy truck. Whatever makes you happy...right!? :) He is so cute!

Jeff brought his boat out from California, so the boys got their first boat ride. Grandma also rented some Jet Ski's. I don't think I even got above 10MPH with Jaden. He really didn't care for it that much. But Kyler LOVED it and kept telling me to go faster! He liked it at about 20-25 MPH. Little daredevil man!

Taelin hated his life jacket, so it was probably a good thing that he fell asleep for the boat ride!

After cleaning up Saturday afternoon, we headed down to the beach for one more dig.

Jaden did not like the idea of his brother beating him down there...

...so, he passed him. Yup, Jaden is still fast!

Nothing better than a hot summer day and boys digging holes at the beach! Life sure is good!
