Ever since Jennie and Taelin got here Jaden has been obsessed with their dog Macie. Today he even told me that he wants to buy a dog! I asked him why? He said "so that it could follow me." Then I asked him what kind of dog he wanted and he replied, "A Chihuahua." Well, we won't be getting any dogs anytime soon, but at least for now he can play with Macie all he wants! And believe me, that's a lot!
We spent some time at the pool where Annette lives. Jaden is getting more brave and even wanted to try diving. Some times he really did a great job. But most of the times it was a belly flop. Luckily with the kind of suit he has, this didn't even hurt!
Kyler loved having a "strong suit" like Jaden.

Last weekend my neighborhood had a garage sale. I didn't really have stuff for that so we decided to let the boys try and sell cookies and lemonade instead. They did pretty good. They made about $14! (The cookies and lemonade were just a quarter a piece, so not too bad) Jaden said he wanted to stay all day! He was a little bit frustrated when people gave him 1 dollar bills and he had to give them quarters back. He kept saying "why do they keep stealing all my money?" Guess he still doesn't understand the value of each one. Not that I expect him too. Kids are so funny about coins!
And it wouldn't be summer without some quality time with the sun. We have definitely been enjoying that a lot as well.
All this fun...I need a break!

LOVE the lemonade and cookie stand! Giving back change is a pretty hard concept for a 5 year old...LOVE THOSE BOYS!! Glad they're having such a great time with Macie & Taelin.
