What happens when Mel spends all day in the kitchen....besides a horrible mess? We end up with 21 quarts of pears! What a job! Glad I know how to can one more things though. On to tomatoes!

yum!!! haven't done any canning this summer myself - but I've been freezing beans, tomato sauce and tomato chunks....love it! I've made these amazing roasted cherry tomatoes - so wonderful on sandwiches, omelets and salads. Definitely need to make more of those too!
